| Description | Performing Arts Workshop serves low-income, pre-kindergarten through high school students in public schools and community centers. In 2018, it will undertake a substantial venture as master tenant of the Geneva Powerhouse, an historic, long-vacant building near Balboa Park. Through this venue, the Workshop will manage classes and performances and expand its offerings for young children and teens outside of school hours. This grant helps Performing Arts Workshop effectively make this transition by supporting a modest capital campaign and with planning and capital project management. |
