Peninsula Interfaith Action and the San Francisco Organizing Project are merging to better address the inequities that affect the Bay Area. Both organizations have been instrumental in engaging synagogues to join churches in congregation-based community organizing. This merger has the potential to engage the growing number of San Franciscans who work in Silicon Valley but who remain unaware of or unengaged by the city’s challenges.
