San Francisco Unified School District’s semi-autonomous advisory group, the Parent Advisory Council, helps ensure that a range of community voices inform district policies. The Council, often in collaboration with other organizations, gathers community feedback on school policies and issues, trains and educates parent leaders, and analyzes data to help inform district initiatives and policies.
