| Description | Open Architecture Collaborative Inc.’s Pathways to Equity project helps design and architecture professionals work in authentic partnership with groups in distressed communities. Community members are trained in critical project planning and execution steps, while architects and designers learn to foster community leadership. Once plans are developed, Open Architecture provides modest funding to help projects come to fruition. In 2018-19, Pathways to Equity will support teams working in West Oakland, Oakland’s Chinatown, and San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. |
