| Description | Oakland Leaf provides quality after-school programming at six Oakland public schools. In summer 2017, it lost its lease and it had to vacate. Finding an appropriate, affordable, ADA-compliant site in Oakland proved challenging, and it had to settle temporarily into several shared workspaces. This grant assisted Oakland Leaf with moving, storage, marketing, and temporary workspace costs. It includes funds for a second move and an office build-out for when the organization secures a long-term home. |
