| Description | The Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir is an award-winning, 55-member ensemble of multiracial, multicultural, and interfaith gospel music singers. It maintains a strong commitment to community service and its programming includes many free events for underserved audiences in locations including churches, schools, correctional facilities, homeless shelters, and outdoor parks. The Choir also self-presents four admission-free events in Oakland each year. Its diverse membership and commitment to community service align the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir with the Fund’s cultural commons guidelines. |
