Northern California Grantmakers (NCG) serves as the fiscal sponsor for an effort that engages funders in strategies to promote portable benefits for low-wage workers. This project will include independent research; outreach to private, independent and public sectors; and a report disseminated through a convening. The goal is to highlight options for funder engagement, establish key recommendations for a public policy response, and to leverage NCG’s network to increase awareness and engagement on this issue.
