The Northern California Community Loan Fund is a lender, technical assistance provider, and federally certified Community Development Financial Institute. It works to increase local nonprofits’ financial resilience, contributing in particular its expertise in real estate. The Loan Fund’s technical assistance work in Alameda County includes a workshop for organizations at risk of displacement from their current locations as well as intensive one-on-one consulting for nonprofits facing immediate displacement. Their work helps to counteract and draw attention to the rising problem of nonprofit evictions in the East Bay.
