National Performance Network supports the touring and professional development of mid-sized arts organizations, focusing on LGBT artists, culturally diverse artists, and organizations too small to be part of other national touring forums. Its 2017 meeting in the Bay Area offered professional development opportunities to Bay Area artists, whether they belonged to the Network or not. This grant helped to underwrite registration fees for local artists who could not otherwise afford to attend.
