The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is the leading advocacy organization focused on the economic security of and respect for nannies, housekeepers, and caregivers. Its strategies fall into three major categories: policy education and enforcement; strengthening the workforce through trainings and standards; and capacity building, including membership growth strategies, leadership development, and technical assistance to local affiliates. NDWA’s efforts help ensure that as this employment sector continues to grow, the opportunities to strengthen the economic security of domestic workers keep pace.
