Description

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization that advocates for reproductive freedom, equal pay, fair taxation, and on other issues that disproportionality affect women, children, and families. This grant from W&EHF supports the NCJW’s work to make women’s voices heard on critical issues in front of the California Legislature or the federal courts. In 2018, it will train advocates and connect them with legislators through a two-day gathering in Sacramento and it will host another training to help advocates understand the judiciary confirmation process.
