| Description | And She Spoke is a full-length community-engaged dance-theater presentation featuring women’s stories and voices in collaboration with Narika, a domestic violence survivors advocacy organization. Through an intensive collaborative process, lead artist Shruti Abhishek with cohort of five Bay Area innovators in Bharatnatyam (a form of South Indian Classical dance) will collaborate with Narika community members in a year-long community-engaged process of workshops, creative intensives and work-in-progress public performances. |
