Mission SF Community Financial Center operates a highly successful, youth-led financial education and savings program called Make Your Path (MY Path). This program trains young leaders in youth employment programs to deliver a comprehensive financial education curriculum to their peers. It covers budgeting, saving, managing debt, and building credit. Through MY Path, youth sign up for direct deposit of their paychecks at Community Trust Credit Union where they are incentivized to save a set amount toward self-established goals.
