Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) supports about 7,000 low-income Latino families in San Francisco annually through asset building and community development programming. It provides a comprehensive array of economic-development and financial-empowerment services and leads a collaborative of agencies and schools focused on improving academic achievement and economic success for children and families in the Mission District. MEDA works directly with many of San Francisco’s most vulnerable families, most of them low-income Latino immigrants.
