Mills College Teacher Scholars Program collaborates with schools and districts to design and support quality, inquiry-based, adult learning systems. It has worked with Oakland Unified School District teachers for nearly a decade. In 2018, Mills Teacher Scholars will collaborate with the newly formed Office of School Educator Professional Learning to help develop a district plan for Oakland teacher and school leader professional learning. The main goals of the partnership are to build the capacity of leaders at schools and to design and support effective collective teacher inquiry.
