| Description | Media Enterprise Alliance provides rigorous media arts training to underserved youth in Oakland, working to keep students engaged in school and on the path to college admission or job placement. Ninety percent of participants are from low-income families or are youth of color. Through the program — based out of the public access station that serves the Oakland Unified School District — Alliance students hone art and music skills and create media arts pieces for broadcast and for use by nonprofit clients. |
