MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger

Program Area(s)
Description

MAZON: the Jewish Response to Hunger advocates for policies that reduce hunger in America. In 2016, it launched an interactive exhibit to help individuals to better understand how people in their communities struggle with hunger. This traveling exhibit brings visitors into conversation with food insecure Americans across the country. In 2017, the exhibit will visit the Bay Area and MAZON will follow up with participants, offering them opportunities to actively address hunger locally. This grant supports the exhibit’s visit to the San Francisco area and its connection with local 6th through 12th graders.
