Working in four Oakland public schools, Luna Kids Dance strengthens the position of dance in student’s lives. Its dance instructors teach alongside classroom teachers throughout the school year, reaching every grade level. The organization’s parent education and after-school dance demonstrations unite entire school communities. Luna Kids Dance also offers an intensive summer dance institute, coaching for teachers, and a library of dance education resources.
