| Description | Los Cenzontles Mexican Arts Center trains youth in the traditional arts of Mexico. As more immigrants arrive from coastal Oaxaca and the Huasteca mountains, it will expand its Cultural Arts Academy curriculum to include those regions, create a music coaching program to help students advance, and formalize an assessment process for documenting students’ artistic growth. The Fund’s grant supports this expansion of Los Cenzontles’s curriculum and the deepening of its teaching and coaching practices. |
