In 2016, Leichtag Foundation joined the Jim Joseph Foundation and W&EHF to create the Fund for Jews of Color Field Building, the only fund to support projects for and led by Jews of color. This work provides leadership opportunities for an important and growing segment of the Jewish community. An initial pool of $160,000 funded six national programs and the Haas Fund’s continued support will enable the Fund for Jews of Color Field Building to implement grant opportunities that address racial justice; build the field; undertake research; advance the voices of Jews of color; and provide thought leadership.
