Long operating as a collective of artists and activists, La Peña Cultural Center has a rich history as a center for Latin American dance and music. It operates under a co-directorship structure, with one person in charge of facilities, a second in charge of programming, and a third (to be hired) in charge of development and finances. This grant supports both training the executive team and the organization’s work to codify its arts education program.
