Keshet is the only organization that works for LGBTQ inclusion in all facets of American Jewish life, creating change in the Jewish community by training and supporting educators, rabbis, and leaders. In response to the Trump administration’s revocation of guidance that protected transgender students in schools, Keshet secured nearly 100 signatories that pledged to make their organizations safe for and inclusive of trans- and gender-nonconforming youth. Keshet also supports LGBTQ professionals who work within Jewish organizations, encourages the Jewish community to effectively respond when LGBTQ equality is at risk, and develops and maintains resources for advocacy, education, and community-building.
