| Description | Just Congregations trains reform synagogue leaders in community organizing; provides leadership opportunities for congregants; and prepares synagogues to be vehicles of social change. It brings a deep understanding of Jewish texts to its work addressing growing economic inequity and immigration reform. The Fund supports Just Congregation in uniting eight Bay Area synagogues with a statewide coalition to more effectively press for tax reform and equitable treatment of racial minorities by law enforcement. |
