| Description | When it launched in 1999, Joshua Venture Group was the first national organization to recognize and train Jewish social entrepreneurs. It identified emerging ideas, taking them to scale with funding and coaching. After two successful cohorts, the group took a hiatus. Since its relaunch in 2009, Joshua Venture Group has supported another 16 start-ups. This grant supports the participation of a Bay Area organization in its 2016 cohort. |
