| Description | Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) is a leader in workforce development. It offers a broad range of services from workshops and classes to comprehensive vocational training programs, with a new technology-training department specifically tailored to upgrade the skills of people laid off from middle-skill jobs and who face extended periods of unemployment. The Fund supports JVS’s intensive training pathways for disadvantaged job seekers in health care, bank services, and information technology. JVS served more than 2,200 job seekers and students in 2014. |
