Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the East Bay (JF&CS) provides vital mental health and social services to more than 8,000 Alameda and Contra Costa county residents a year, assisting people of all ages, races, and religions. One of its primary programs supports and resettles immigrants and refugees. Over the past several years, the number of refugees resettled by JFCS East Bay has more than tripled. This grant supports JF&CS’ Arabic language services for immigrants as well as strategic planning.
