Jewish Family and Community Services East Bay

Program Area(s)
Description

Fewer refugees are being admitted to the United States and those who make it face anti-refugee policies, increased racism, and xenophobia. Jewish Family and Community Services East Bay (JF&CS East Bay) helps to counteract these negative forces by providing refugees with essential mental health and social services. It supports refugee resettlement, heightens awareness of the plight of refugees, and aids refugees directly, primarily assisting Afghan and LGBTQ refugees in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
