| Description | The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) supports a healthy democracy by: engaging the Jewish community in building relationships with elected officials; partnering with other ethnic and faith communities to advocate for justice; and representing the Jewish community in the public sphere. JCRC encourages citizen engagement in the political process, acts as a first responder for issues of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism in schools, and offers opportunities for social action. It also collects and distributes 5,000 books and mobilizes volunteer tutors for 1,000 students in high-poverty schools each year. |
