The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) fights all forms of religious and ethnic intolerance and engages Jews in service and social justice activities. It builds coalitions with the broader community, encourages Jews to become civic leaders, and serves as a resource to public officials and faith leaders in navigating issues of importance to the Jewish community. Increasingly, JCRC plays an important role in mobilizing the Jewish community to tackle issues of inequality. In 2017, JCRC will continue to help the community navigate issues of racial diversity, providing trainings for Jewish organizations on racial inclusivity and educating organizations on issues related to racism, privilege, and diversity.
