Jewish Community Federation of the East Bay is engaging local Jewish leaders and organizations in issues of social, economic, and racial justice as part of expanding its programming for Jews of color. The Federation launched this initiative with an action-planning meeting and will continue over six months with series of smaller meetings leading up to a leadership summit. A related micro-grants program will fund projects that build on interfaith partnerships in support of racial equity.
