| Description | Each year, the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) engages 75,000 people in programs ranging from preschool to podcasts to its kosher lunch program. Emphasizing ‘doing’ Jewish over ‘being’ Jewish, JCCSF delivers unique experiences, organizes holiday celebrations, hosts Shabbat, and presents cultural programs that explore the multifaceted Jewish experience. This grant supports the creation of the Center’s “Jewishing” department, which will use the context of modern San Francisco to connect participants with Jewish history teachings. |
