As Islamophobia spreads, Islamic Networks Group (ING) steps up to meet an unprecedented level of requests for its services. ING supplies Islamic and interfaith speakers, promotes interfaith dialogue, teaches students about Islam, and helps Muslim youth prevent and defuse bullying. This grant helps launch ING’s new presentation on peacemaking in world religions, a response to exaggerated public focus on Islamic extremism. It also supports a program that unites Jewish and Muslims leaders to celebrate a hybrid Halaqa and Seder, an event that incorporates practices from both religions.
