| Description | In 2010, Intersection for the Arts moved from its longtime home in the Mission District to space in the San Francisco Chronicle building in SOMA. This move brought on a new strategic plan that shifted focus from developing theater works and gallery exhibitions towards enhancing Intersection’s long-running fiscal sponsorship program. Doing so helped to stabilize Intersection for the Arts’ leadership and finances. W&EHF’s grant supports production of the Common Grounds Arts Festival, through which a number of Intersection for the Arts’ fiscally sponsored projects will reach the community through free performances, workshops, and exhibitions in and around its building, benefiting its low-income neighbors. |
