Internationals Network for Public Schools partnered with Oakland and San Francisco unified school districts to create high schools for adolescents who have recently arrived in the United States. These schools have become laboratory schools for their respective districts and regional demonstration sites for the greater Bay Area. A hallmark of these schools is strong teacher collaboration. Teachers meet daily in cohort teams and less frequently in other grade level, subject area, and leadership groups. Internationals Network supports these teacher teams by providing curriculum, coaching, and ongoing research and development.
