Description | Housed at the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD), the Hurricane Maria Community Relief and Recovery Fund uses one-hundred percent of the money it raises to support immediate relief, recovery, and equitable rebuilding in Puerto Rico’s hardest hit communities. Its support includes delivery of tents, water filters, food, and training. Over the longer term, this fund will help organize support for rebuilding efforts. It prioritizes women, people of color, and other historically disinvested communities and backs proactive measures to protect Puerto Rico from future climate change-related natural disasters. |
