| Description | Hazon helps Jews engage in environmental and food justice activities, partnering with communities of faith and representing the Jewish community in these areas. In 2013 it will work with Jewish organizations to teach 1,000 people about food insecurity in the Bay Area. Two hundred of these participants will be recruited to directly participate in hunger alleviation projects. Hazon will hold its second Food Justice Festival in Palo Alto in 2013 and work with regional JCCs to launch similar events at other sites. |
