| Description | Green Art Workshop offers art classes at three San Francisco public schools that serve many low-income students. Its Pop-Up Habitat program makes children more aware of waste-reduction and the environment while teaching visual arts skills. Students study California national parks, make artworks suited to their habitats — collages, masks, booklets, costumes — and then share what they have learned through exhibitions and performances. |
