Glide Foundation extends a safety net to the Tenderloin neighborhood, hosting joyous Sunday celebrations and providing free meals, job training, and other vital services. This grant helps to fund the hiring of a Rabbi at Glide who will take on both clergy and social-justice responsibilities . The role is intended to serve as a catalyst for Jews, encouraging them to engage more fully with Glide and providing them with a welcome opportunity to join in working and advocating for equity and justice in San Francisco.
