| Description | Frameline produces San Francisco’s acclaimed International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. While San Francisco is known for its large LGBTQ community, some segments of that community remain under-represented at the festival. In response, Frameline has, for a decade, managed an innovative project to engage two peripheral LGBTQ groups—elders and youth—to make short films in cross-generational teams. Films from these Frameline Generations workshops are shown at the festival, boosting the event’s inclusivity. |
