For 30 years, the Exploratorium’s Teacher Institute has leveraged the resources of the Exploratorium museum to provide teachers with exceptional professional development focused on inquiry-based science instruction. As a part of the Exploratorium’s commitment to equity, the Teacher Institute is reserving up to a third of its new teacher participant slots for science teachers from high-need public secondary schools in Oakland and San Francisco. This professional development will benefit students from marginalized areas by providing them with improved science education.
