| Description | Schools operated by Envision Education engender strong outcomes for students of color living in communities of concentrated poverty. These charter schools apply a system in which students nearing graduation demonstrate their skills and knowledge through a learning portfolio and a master’s degree-style defense. This grant supports Envision in providing technical assistance, coaching, and assessment tools to Oakland Unified School District so it can implement a related program through which students will complete year-long multi-disciplinary research projects before graduation. |
