| Description | Emerging Arts Professionals operates a professional development and learning network for young arts and culture workers. Many arts professionals in their 20s and 30s envision careers in the arts that involve significant part-time and temporary work, require the confidence and skills to be entrepreneurial, assume movement between the nonprofit and commercial sectors, and depend on continued learning as the cultural sector evolves. Emerging Arts Professionals invites members of its constituency to propose projects for approximately 15 fellowships that offer financial support as well as access to consultants and program alumnae. The program’s structure, being copied in other cities, supports individual and collective learning. |
