Economic Inequality Media Project

Program Area(s)
Description

The Economic Inequality Media Project uses social media to engage the public on domestic economic issues, particularly those that contribute to wealth and income inequality. The Project develops three-minute “explainer videos” and partners with advocacy and base-building groups to ensure the videos’ dissemination through social media. Drawing hundreds of thousands of views, these shorts encourage public action. This grant funds development of two videos on the link between tax subsidies and wealth concentration and also provides general operating support.
