Earned Assets Resource Network (EARN) helps low-wage workers to save and invest in their families’ future. Over its 14-year history, the organization has opened more than 6,000 matched savings accounts. To dramatically increase its reach, it launched its Starter Savings Program in 2014. This six-month online savings program incentivizes people to save. EARN is also working to elevate asset building and savings through public policy and is running an internal research institute to better understand participants’ needs and behaviors.
