| Description | Each One Reach One seeks to improve outcomes for incarcerated youth. Through its program, theater artists work one-on-one with youth, coaching them through the writing of one-act plays. After the plays are complete, professional actors perform staged readings for participants, their families, and juvenile justice staff. Of the youth who take part, 95% are at risk of long-term disconnection from society. This grant helps fund three cycles of Each One Reach One’s playwriting program — two at San Francisco’s juvenile hall and one within the Success Center for youth on probation. |
