| Description | Destiny Arts Center, widely admired for its distinctive curricula, offers youth instruction in theater, dance, and martial arts, and also stages students’ original work. More than half of its 430 on-site participants receive fully subsidized tuition. Destiny additionally operates after-school programs on Oakland school campuses, reaching another 1,000 racially, culturally, and socio-economically diverse students. This grant helps Destiny Arts Center to settle into its new building and operating model. |
