| Description | The 1:1 Fund encourages the college aspirations of low-income children by raising funds to match their savings for higher education. It provides fundraising infrastructure—through an online donor platform and major donor outreach—in support of a number of children’s savings account programs. For example, in the Bay Area, it partners with Kindergarten to College and College Track. The 1:1 Fund has matched more than $500,000 in college savings for low-income kids in California and New York since its launch in Fall 2012. |
