| Description | Community Resources for Science provides East Bay public elementary school teachers with professional development and classroom support. Its Bay Area Scientist in Schools program brings working scientists into classrooms to deliver hands-on science lessons. In 2014, with support from the Fund, Community Resources worked more intensively with the four West Oakland schools that are part of a West Oakland science, technology, engineering, art, and math pathway, increasing low-income students’ access to engaging and effective education. |
