Community Financial Resources offers families consumer-friendly financial products in combination with financial education. Its unique products include a no-fee, prepaid payroll/debit card. In 2015, more than $21 million was deposited directly onto approximately 6,000 of these cards. Another product, a secured credit-building Visa card, has no annual fee or FICO score requirement and is collateralized by a $200 security deposit. Participants with no previous credit score quickly establish reputable scores while cardholders with poor credit make progress improving their scores.
