People of color comprise approximately 20% of the Bay Area Jewish population. Yet Jews of Color are not represented in leadership positions at Jewish organizations and continue to face discrimination within the Jewish community. In response, three funders (W&EHF, the Jim Joseph Foundation and the Leichtag Foundation) created the first pooled fund to support national organizations and projects led by and created for Jews of color. This project seeks to expand field building opportunities to support Jews of color and their allies.
